We’ll talk about the best outfit, location, and time of day for your maternity shoot to ensure you feel confident and at ease. I even have a client closet filled with beautiful maternity gowns for you to choose from. Take the extra time to prepare for your maternity shoot, believe me. You’ll be happy you did!
Choose your ideal Location for Baby bump photo shoot
The most enjoyable aspects of maternity photography is the freedom to choose your ideal location. The location is entirely up to you, whether it’s in the great outdoors, the studio, or the comfort of your own home. We’ll also time the session just right, so you look and feel your best.
There are two parts to timing your session just right. First is timing your maternity session to happen when you are around 30-36 weeks pregnant. You are still able to move around easily, and your sweet belly has made a n appearance. Second is what time of the day your maternity session should take place. The best light for your session is what is called “golden hour” which is the hour before sunset where you get that gorgeous, glowing, light.
The beauty of a maternity shoot is that it often leads to a newborn session. This way, you can document your journey from bump to baby, creating a beautiful story that your family will treasure forever. With my baby package, you can capture both of these precious moments in one go!
